Nabiel Kanan began writing and drawing graphic novels in the late 80s.

His published books include Exit, for which he was awarded the UK Comic Creators Guild Award, the Eisner nominated Lost Girl,2001’s The Birthday Riots and latterly The Drowners, published by Desperado.

Kanan divides his time between all manner of writing and illustration.

His interests include music, astronomy and avoiding mobile phones.
