Blue Monday by Chynna Clugston makes a welcome return to comic stores this month. Along with Optic Nerve, Jack Staff, Criminal and anything by Roger Langridge, it’s one of the few comics I actively look out for. You can see previews of the new series Thieves Like Us here

Woke up with this image in my head one morning back in January 2002, shortly after returning from the Angouleme festival, along with the idea for a story called The Rainbow’s End, all about a travelling circus fallen on hard times in this technological age. Can traditional entertainment survive the internet age? Hope to start serializing it somewhere (online perhaps?The irony!) in 2009. Will keep you posted.

Hi, just a quick update. The Exit trade is still coming out, but will be a little delayed,apologies for that,nothing to do with my (very supportive) publishers Desperado, I hasten to add. I take full blame for the delay. It will hopefully arrive in stores in early 2009, and will contain a higher page count than the 272 pgs. originally listed (over 300 now, I believe). I just want to get it looking as nice as possible. I thank you all for your patience, and the kind comments you’ve sent regarding the series.
